Registration Schedule for Newly Licensed Civil Engineers

Following the release of the examination results, successful civil engineering examinees are required to undergo the professional registration process—a mandatory final step toward full entry into the profession. Completion of this process will entitle passers to receive their Professional Identification (ID) Card and Certificate of Registration, official documents that formally confer upon them the designation of Registered Civil Engineer (RCE).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) clarified that the schedule for booking online appointments for initial registration has not yet been released and is currently listed as to be announced (TBA). Newly licensed engineers are strongly advised to await official PRC announcements before attempting to proceed with registration to ensure compliance with proper protocols.

Once the registration period is opened, all applicants are required to secure their appointments exclusively through the PRC’s official online registration platform at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. The Commission emphasized the importance of strictly following the prescribed online registration procedures and preparing all documentary requirements ahead of time to prevent unnecessary delays or complications.

Applicants must present the following documents during the registration process:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA), which will be used strictly for identity verification purposes
  • A duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  • Two passport-sized photographs, taken against a white background and labeled with a complete name tag
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One short brown envelope

The PRC further underscored that personal appearance at the assigned PRC office is mandatory for all registrants. As part of the formal registration proceedings, newly licensed engineers will be required to affix their signatures to the official Roster of Registered Professionals, the legal record that marks their formal admission into the civil engineering profession.

With the completion of the registration process, newly minted civil engineers will have fulfilled all legal requirements and may officially and lawfully practice their profession in accordance with Philippine law—marking not only the conclusion of their licensure journey, but also the beginning of their professional careers.
